Mikes' Crab or Clam Cheese Log

This recipe was given to me by a mother-in-law and
I have found it goes very well with the winter holidays.

6 1/2OZ Can of minced clams or crab
1/4C Juice from Clam or Crab
1 Pkg. dry onion mix
1 8OZ Pkg. Cream Cheese
1 Cup Shredded sharp or medium Cheddar
1T Lemon juice
1/3-1/2C crushed nuts
2/3C Parsley

Drain seafood, saving 1/4 Cup of the liquid.
Mix seafood, juice and cream cheese.
Add cheddaar cheese, soup mix and lemon juice.
Mix together and roll on wax paper to form a log.
Chill 3-4 HRS.
Pulverize the nuts and mix with parsley,
spread on a flat surface and roll the login the mix
being sure to cover the ends (I just pick some up
and pat it on). Place log in serving dish, cover and refridgerate,
or place Ritz and/or Club crackers around the log and serve.
